I know it has been a while since I have posted.
I recently have been involved in a home roasting renaissance.
it has been a while since I have home roasted.
I just started this past quarter.
I forgot how much I love roasting.
I love roasting.
At it’s best roasting is perfection.
at its worst really frustrating.
I am roasting for espresso.
medium roast normale as the italians call it.
This requires a deft skilled hand at roasting.
The Roast literally has to be perfect.
Roasting normale demands perfection no mistakes.
The goal to get the coffee color and roast profile as close as possible to matching.
Today was that day.
Roasting with a heat gun roaster I had I was able to get my roast color on all batches to line up as close as possible.
Profiling perfect.
with a drum roaster I have gotten the coffee to line up color wise perfect and exact.
I was proud that I accomplished something very close with a heat gun roaster.
This espresso blend is designed to shine in milk creamy body lovely balanced acidity.
sweet and smooth 5 ounce cappucino with 1.25 ounce ristretto shots.
This blend has panama brazil african and indonesian coffee’s in it.
I love african with brazil it is perfect in espresso.
Creamy brazil lovely acidity and body in african and panama.
Indonesian enhances the body and balances out the acidity.
